Any ideas on names?

Ok, I have absolutely no imagination, so cut me some slack. Here are some stupid ideas to get us started...
I was trying to think of some of the things people yell at BINGO for an idea. "B9...or malignant" is obviously out, but another one I thought of is when they call B11, everyone yells "Chicken Legs!" Lol. I know there are others--does anyone know any more?
Or we could do something with our group number 2...but I can't think of anything. ;)
Or we can take another group and just change it to fit. For example:
G.L.O.W., which is of course the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling...we could be:
G.L.O.B. (Gorgeous Ladies of Bingo)
Told you I suck at this.

The only one I can think of right now is, Second Shift.

Just a heads up as the first shelf has been posted! The shelf is listed in the shelf announcements link and it's vampire-romance. Happy reading!

Vampire Romance is I2 on our BINGO card.
I just sent messages to Cher & Hershey's Kisses to let them know the 1st shelf has been posted. Both their profiles are set to private, so I had to send them friend requests to send a message. So then I figured, shouldn't we all be GR friends anyway? So Succubus77 & Sabrina Fair, I sent you friend requests too. :)
And I am going to read Eternal Kiss of Darkness for the vampire romance shelf--I just picked it up from the library on Friday--how perfect is that? ;)
We'll wait to see if Cher or Hershey's Kisses have a better group name than G.L.O.B.
G.L.O.B. Lol. It makes me laugh. But I'm a weirdo. ;)

Funny!! : )

I've been having internet/modem/router/networking issuses for the past month or so that is driving me insane! Just got a quick connection and saw LL email.
I quickly read over the whole BINGO challenge thread(trying to grasp the 'jest' of the challenge) to change my mind. When i first saw the request it sounded like an awesome challenge ... and it still does!
But with a lot of changes with me now, I'm going to be pretty-much useless to this team and the challenge ahead. Sorry, but I will be pulling out of the challenge this time.
I'm sure y'all will do well. I'll be cheering silently. But it seems like you got it all covered! Catch y'all on the the next one! Happy reading!!

Not to worry, GLOBs, we'll figure something out re: missing team members.

lol

That would be okay with me, since you've finished yours this week already. :D
I know we're down (at least) one member (and maybe two?). If we need to have 5 books read for each square, maybe we ought to take turns.
My October is kinda full (along with my book challenges, I'm also watching 100 horror movies this month, and work, etc...) but after this month, I'd be happy to pick up some of the slack as well.
Just so ya'll know where I stand in this. Us G.L.O.B.s need to stick together. :D

But, unlike Cher, I shall make time for this! I need to broaden my reading horizons!
The G.L.O.B. is a funny team name, but maybe it could be The P.E.A.R.L (Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature) Choosers?

Welcome, HK! Great to see ya and thanks for playing. Which book will you be reading for this round?

The G.L.O.B...."
I did this last year too so I'm better organized this time. I'm at 44, atm. I try to watch mostly movies that I haven't seen yet. Of the ones I hadn't seen before, I liked Jennifer's Body, A Tale of Two Sisters, The Echo, Re-Cycle, Pontypool, 100 Feet, and The Signal.

I created a spreadsheet to help me keep track of player & team stats throughout the challenge. You are welcome to view it . Edits are not allowed, please do not make any changes to the spreadsheet. If any information is incorrect, please let me know. Thanks!

Ok, Judithe, I'm gonna copy you, which, from your post, I'm assuming you copied from someone else. LOL.

Ok, Judithe, I'm ..."
LOL! I WISH! :)

To get free space credit, each team must pick a book from one of these three options:
(1) SOS' Book of the Month: October's Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare OR November's Alpha by Rachel Vincent
OR
(2) A book off of any of the group's October or November new release threads found here:
SOS New Releases
OR
(3) A book off of the group's bookshelf (any shelf/tag)
SOS Bookshelf
***Be sure to post on your team's thread: which book you chose for FREE SPACE credit, which of the three options above you chose to pick your book, your rating and your review. Once all members of each team have posted that information, your team will get "a stamp" in the FREE SPACE. :D
NOTE: Since the game will go on past October, Steph has opened up options 1-2 to "any month's book while the game is active". So, since we already know that Nov's BOM is Alpha by Rachel Vincent, you could choose to read that vs. Clockwork Angel, or any book listed on the "Nov new release/next-in-series" lists found here and so on.
Members don't have to pick and read a book now, they can, but it's not required. You can choose which book to read and when to read it, but no team will get free space credit until all members have read, rated & reviewed a book chosen from one those options.

I WISH TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd probably find more things to put into it, but I'd still like to apply for either the 30-hour day, or a clone to help out whenever necessary...

3.5 stars
I didn't like this one nearly as much as the first book. Seemed to start out slow but a little over halfway through, it really picked up. I felt all the characters experienced growth but the story was difficult for me to get through. I will read the next one, at least, because I'm attached to these characters.

Change effective immediately
Due to Team 2, The G.L.O.B.s, being short one member, I am changing the required reading needed to achieve "shelf credit" down to FOUR books.
Each team member is still required to read a book for each shelf.
New Rule: As soon as FOUR books are read, rated & reviewed, that team will get credit for that shelf.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this change. Thanks & Happy Reading!

That was just fine, Succubus77! :)

Finished October 14th ★★
I wasn't as crazy about this one as everyone else, in fact, I'm not crazy about this spin off series much at all. Actually, now that I think about it, I loved Cat & Bones in the first 3 books, but the 4th had them losing some of their charm for me, and I'm not much looking forward to the 5th.
Anywho, back to this book. I'm just not a big PNR fan. I just find it all so unbelievable, the falling in love in 3 days bit. And yes, this coming from someone who reads mainly paranormal & fantasy, complaining about believability. :) But I have always had a soft spot for Mencheres, so it was nice to see him get his HEA, I just never believed it.

Well...considering he hadn't had sex in over 900 years, I'm gonna give that a resounding "YES!" Lol. :)

YAY!! :D
