I'm super excited for finally being able to start reading it, and MILLION thanks to the great chickas @chicklitcentral and Talli for sending me a copy of this book:)

New here! Hello all! I just finished The Next Best Thing by Jennifer Weiner. LOVED it. She has such a way of making characters interesting and really takes on the idea of what makes people sexy.

Have you read Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner? Also amazing.

I can't decide which book to read next so I'm gonna pack my hardcopy The Help into my bag so that I can start reading it on my way to work tomorrow. Meanwhile I shall read some short ebooks that I had gotten free from Amazon on my ereader in my dark room.

I finished reading "Barely Breathing" and "Reason to breath" by Rebecca Donovan although I wouldnt exactly categorize it as chick lit but it was an awesome read, now im trying to finish reading "My best friends girl" by Dorothy Koomson but it's kind of hard coming down from the insanity of Reason to Breath.

Yes I did read I love all of Jennifer's work, but Cannie Shapiro is my favorite. I need more plus sized protagonists in my fiction. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am currently reading The Birds And The Bees and i would totally categorize it in the chick lit section ,till now i just love it.

I'm reading Carter's Unfocused One Track Mind. I love these books. They're so funny and refreshing. No swoony love interests here. Just real teen boys.

Last month I remained sticked at SEP books. Some of them are really good as Match Me If You Can, Lady Be Good, Ain't She Sweet, Kiss an Angel

I allowed myself to be sucked into the 50 Shades of Grey phenomenon. I am stuck in the middle of the second one - can't seem to finish it - but I feel like I have to. Especially since I keep reading reviews wherein people say the second is better than the first, and the thrid is just awesome. I think if I finish the second one though, I'm going to need a break...

I'm halfway through Seductive Viennese Whirl by Emma Kaufmann - Hilarious. If you liked Bridget Jones or just like to read about somebody who eats more cake and gets less sex than yourself - this is the book for you. I'll let you know more when I've finished it.

@Randi, I LOVED 59 Shades of Grey, but to be honest the second one was my least favorite, all I wanted was for it to end, but to me the 3rd one was the best.

I am tackling two books at the moment- Breath by Tim Winton and The Mystery of Mercy Close by Marian Keyes .

Right now I am reading Beautiful Diaster...so far so good. I was wondering has anybody read Southern Charm by Tinsley Mortimer? Is it any good? It keeps popping up in my picked just for you on my nook...amy thoughts?

I really enjoyed Too Good to Be True it's a classic chick lit novel, with a lot of humor and crazy situation, don't miss it :-)

I just finished Girl in Hyacinth Blue and Finding Colin Firth. they balanced each other quite well. The first one mentioned is a bit melancholy, but interesting. The latter is a fun book that you won't want to put down.

I've just finished midsummer magic and 44 Scotland street and have now started me & you. any recommendations would be great fully received
