finished Aftertime (Aftertime, #1) by Sophie Littlefield I really liked it...but then again who doenst like zombies :D
lol
however its more a story of a mother trying to get her daughter back either way I thought the whole world after zombies thing was done really well id recommend it to anyone...although if you dont like books with sex...its not for you (its all in context but still)

Dave Lawrence (davefromjerra) | 6 comments I finally got started on Gerald's Gameand I'm enjoying it so far. The premise seems a little thin to base a whole novel around but if anyone can do it, Stephen King can.

Dee-Ann | 644 comments I finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Childrenwhich is classified as a horror story for young adults. I did not find it that scary though, except some of the photos were a bit haunting. I enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars. The use of the photos with the story turned an perhaps ordinary horror story into something more. I think this book, and any subsequent books, would make interesting movie material.

David (tasbooklover) | 151 comments A dismal effort by me for horror month. Only 1 horror book completed. An enjoyable book nonetheless. Carnies by Australian author Martin Livings
Now for some Christmas books :)

Dave Lawrence (davefromjerra) | 6 comments I know it's a little late, but I just got back from holidays. I finally finished Gerald's Game over Christmas. It's pretty horrific and gruesome, but the subject matter is a bit unsavoury. I suppose being the father of a young daughter, I found the recounting of the heroine's molestation by her dad particularly sickening. Still even when he's not in top form Stephen King is always compelling reading. 3 stars.
