Hello everyone,

I'm Sadie, author of the novel The Weeping Empress and the bog .

The book is an action adventure/fantasy about one woman's attempt to best fate and claim her life back. The blog is new and split fairly evenly between personal musings and book reviews. I am currently building my summer TBR list, so please contact me if interested in providing a book for review. I'm originally from America, but I currently live in NW England. I'll read just about anything, but sci-fi/fantasy is my favorite. I'm not too keen on romance, though.

Hello everyone, I'm Jean Mead author of the historical fictions The Widow Makers, The Widow Makers:Strife a saga spanning 1842-1900. My first foray into Norse history is Freya 800AD which is to be published later this week. This is the story of a woman living more than a thousand years ago at the beginning of the Viking raids on Britain. I really enjoyed the research and writing this novel and will most probably write a sequel. This is my first post as a new member of this group. Thank you for accepting me.

Hi Jason - nice to meet you - you sound crazy busy with the writing :) some interesting stuff there.

I too am a fan of tea and lego games - but worry about the impact they have on my three year old, he told me he wants to be a bounty hunter when he grows up - I'm hoping that's a Star Wars connection for the helmets rather than an actual bounty hunter.

Also Jason - should have said - post your books on our shelf and in the author thread so people can see what you've written

I might try it - on Sunday he put on his new Darth Maul (?) t-shirt and was channeling the dark side - he was just stalking slowly from one room to another offering long angry stares - a bit dramatic I'll admit, but I like the fact that he's method about his acting, even at this age
