Oh Soph! I'm not reading anything right now either!

I will! :)
It's one that I'm doing as a "buddy read".
I'm reading Anne of Ingleside (for like the 4th time). :)

Thank you! I'm very glad I joined this group :D

Now I'm about to start

I really need to read The Green Mile - it's one of my favorite movies ever. I've never read a Stephen King book but I really want to read this one -I may have to put it on my "must read" list for next year.

It's interesting so far! The language took a bit getting used to (I don't read much French classic lit) but the story is starting to pick up =)

Next I'm going to read

Alice, The Pursuit of Lucy Banning is really good! I think you would like it! ;)

;) I love Tudor(ish) books and I haven't read any in FOREVER so I REALLY enjoyed Queen's Own Fool. ;) it was the first book I read that was mainly about Mary, Queen of Scots, and the first book I'd read about a court "Fool". :)

I really pushed myself to finish the book. I found the characters (Darcy, Elizabeth, Kitty) were flat - they lacked the depth that Austen gave them (although Mr. Bennett's cameo appearance was good). The story painfully dragged throughout the first 3/4 of the book until the ending where the mystery, more or less, solves itself at a local inquest and trial with the help of some last-minute revelations.

I don't usually like the way the Amish are portrayed in fiction, but I am surprised at how much I am enjoying this one :)
