I'm reading a story of first love
Bright Star: Love Letters and Poems of John Keats to Fanny Brawne by John Keats. Also a 2009 film directed by Jane Campion called Bright Star.

I love the movie it's beautiful and the book is on my shelve waiting to be read.

I haven't started the Heyer one yet, I just got it a couple of hours ago from the library, but I'll let you know. As for the other one, it is a romance and is very good. You should try it, it takes place in Regency England.

I've never heard of Georgette Heyer. Who is she? (Other than an author, duh.)

That's good, I hate books that are filled with nothing but intimacy scenes, like many of the Pride and Prejudice spin-offs are. You can have a perfectly good story without it.

I will be reading Miss Delacourt has her Day (sequel to Miss Delacourt speaks her Mind) and I can't wait as the first one was amazing!
I absolutely LOVED Arabella and recommend it ! Great story and very very funny!! Wonderful hero and heroine as well!

I'm rereading
before moving on to a Heyer.I just feel like I need some Austen :) Plus I have been missing dear Fanny.Plus by the time I finish my copy of Arabella should be hear and I can read it.Soph has me wanting to read that Heyer next :)

Yes, Avi is a great author! I really liked The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by him. It was a really fun page-turner. Definitely worth another re-read if I'm in the mood for some adventure. I haven't read the first Crispin book yet, but it's next on my must-read list (which means I'll be reading that next after City of Orphans)!
