I read When Jesus Wept last month and LOVED it! I shared a review on goodreads but also on my website () Awesome themes and characters--and, as you said, amazing research! ;)

LAWonder10 | 3 comments I just finished reading 'Finding Her Way' by Leah Baniki. This is a clean, well-writen historical fiction. It is a great reminder of the sacrifices of those who lived previously so we can enjoy a life with fewer hardships. it has some romance. For further review, go to

Cheri | 2 comments Right now I'm close to finishing the book "The Rest of the Gospel when the partial Gospel has worn you out" by Dan Stone. It is one of the BEST books that I have ever read and I highly recommend it!

It is not a self-help book, it is a life transforming book. It will show you the way to living the abundant life that Jesus promised.

Jacob West (jacobwestauthor) | 1 comments Hi everyone! My name is Jacob West and I've written a new book for Christian fiction fans that I think you might like. Here are links if you are interested in looking at it. It's a quick and easy read and is a "coming of age story" about a teen boy and how he thinks and what he experiences.

Here is a description:
Jake West, a skinny teenager whose favorite subjects are choir and art, is struggling to find his place in the world. Always in the shadow of his athletic older brother and befriended by girls who enjoy his company but don’t see him as dating material, Jake begins making comparisons and questioning who he is. As if surviving junior high isn’t hard enough, Jake's family is suddenly transferred from sunny California to the cold, windy shores of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

"So, California, huh?"
I nodded. My mouth was full of food and I didn’t know what else I could say to that.
"I'm Eric Brems."
I swallowed my food. "Hi Eric. I'm Jake West."
"Yeah, I know...and so does everybody else in this school."
I looked around. There were a few eyes pointing our way.
"Everybody?"
"Yeah, they all know about the kid who moved here from California."
"Really?" I asked not fully comprehending what he was telling me.
"Yeah, haven't you noticed everyone watching you as you walk down the hall?"

In a new high school where nobody knows him, will Jake stay true to himself or will he abandon his talents and values in order to fit in?

I've never heard of this author and looked him up. I haven't got into the Christian fantasy genre, but the description sounds intriguing. I noticed in the description of the book that is says (none other than the delightful Smith Delaney from the Trophy Chase Trilogy). Do you have to read the Trophy Chase Trilogy first in order to follow the main character in this series, Smith Delaney? Just wondering.

I read them a long itme ago too, and I am having trouble reconciling what I remember with the movies. Is it just that I have forgotton so much, or are the movies not keeping very faithfully to the books?

Jana | 9 comments I am reading Unforeseeable by Nancy Mehl- Bk 3 in the Road to Kingdom series. All three take place in a town called Kingdom , a small Mennonite community. A body has been found on the side of the road and the murder fits the profile of a serial killer who hasn't struck in 20 years. Could the killer have shown up in Kingdom or could he possibly be one of their own? A great Christian mystery/suspense!
