History is in part not only a long struggle for the minds, bodies, and properties of men, with various movements seeking control of historical processes in terms of their faith, but it is also a battle with respect to language.
He also says that "Men fail to understand one another not only when they speak alien tongues, but also when they use the same words with very diverse meanings."
This very much reminds me of Dr. Branch's lecture on Transgenderism at Ratio Christi (on April 9th, 2024)
