"This was a 3.5/5 for me. While I enjoyed it, I felt like the overall storyline of being kidnapped and Nico’s involvement was very rushed. I would have rather had the book be longer to have more experiences under Nico’s control. His two chapters were interesting and I would have enjoyed more from his perspective. Instead it was only a few days apart from her men, so I found that aspect a bit lacking. I did enjoy the book but I felt like it wasn’t as exciting as the first one, especially with the cliff hanger at the end of book one. I do love the characters and think it’s worth the read. Just wasn’t my overall favorite. I am excited for book 3 though to see where they end up and if the third book redeems itself in my eyes. I received an arc copy of this book for an honest review."

"4.5 ⭐️ I just love this series and book two did not disappoint. Please read your trigger warnings first and book one.
This one was a bit more of a slow burn, high action, and stressful read, but still delicious. Of course, our flawed and beauiful male male characters were so swoon worthy and stopped at nothing to save our Tori. Tori did not play damsel, not that I thought she would, but she fought tooth and nail trying to save herself in addition to our men. I devoured this book as expected, it was well written, full of tension, and included many delicious new characters that I'm excited about. Our main characters continued to experience beautiful growth and miss Knight produced such a lovely piece of art. It was over too quick and I'm beyond ready for #3. "

First- make sure you've read the first book before you start this one, or you will be totally lost.

I loved the character development in this one. In the first one, there were still parts of the boys I didn't always love, but here, they've all been humbled and scared by her abduction, and they start to let themselves feel. They also start to soften to each other and the fact that they all love her and are going to share.

Everybody has their favorite of the guys, but Thorne is leading the pack for me. I love the dangerous side of him he shows in this one! Tori's growth in this one is exceptional, too, and I can't wait to see what kind of badass she truly becomes in the final book!"
