The Sun and the Steel" by Yukio Mishima is a personal testament in which he explores the idea of mysticism of the flesh. The book is written in abstract and dense style, can sometimes be challenging to grasp. However, Mishima’s way of reasoning rooted in reflections on his childhood is compelling. I found his abstract thoughts intuitive. This book is a must-read for those who are intrigued by the complex relationship between the body and the mind
