a classic MZ read if a little slower than some others

A looooong road this book was to get to the good stuff hehe but MZ s writing is as always impeccable and flawless. If you’re looking for a good slow burn with a believable romantic arc you can’t go wrong with this one. sensitivity editing issues

I wanted to enjoy this but the first Black character introduced is referred to by race every single time he’s mentioned and in the most uncomfortable way. The black man� his black fingers� his black fist�

You get where I’m going with this. If the author ever sees this review please note that it’s great to introduce characters by their race, but all characters need to be treated the same. The white doctor, the Black doctor, the Italian doctor etc etc and after the initial introduction we understand what they look like. Characters races don’t need to be referred to multiple times let alone on the same page 😅

short dystopian romance extra spicy!

Totally a huge fan of this author. This is my second book by her and it did not disappoint! Short book with good world building given the length. A little bit of insta love/lust but all the good bits from this author who writes the best dominant men! ]]>
