Excellent collection of stories.

Not real life stories, just Reddit type stuff, but still well written and straight to point. Bolo fans, rejoice!

Inspired by Keith Laumer's Bolo series, all of these stories are pretty good, but I wonder what some are doing here. Nevertheless, a pretty good addition to the robotank mythos.

Marvel strikes again. Buy at your own risk.

Was going to give this one star and drop a lot of spoilers, but I slept on it.

Marvel gives us an incomplete cliche based story that ends with yet another great character, who is a white male, essentially replaced by one who isn't. Uggh.

Marvel, please stop screwing with the old characters and give us some decent new ones who aren't the current PC flavor.

Alright, I gave this one only four stars because it comes close to jumping the shark at times(which is funny, given the presence of shark men) but still maintains the usual high quality of storytelling. I don't want to leave any spoilers, but if you can handle a werebear in a loincloth double wielding miniguns, this is right up your alley. Check it out.

I know that"hurt the hero" is almost a literary requirement, but what happens to our hero in this one is JUST WRONG. One of the best Weird Westerns I've read.

To be perfectly clear, I am a proud Yankee and rarely enjoy reading about Confederate "heroes".
Having said that, I am a major fan of the author and did enjoy the book despite the protagonist being unlikable at times. I understand that there was(and still is) a lot of bad blood as a result of the American Civil War, and our "hero" has a good reason to be violently anti North, but at times he seems psychotic in his dislike. Starts slow, ends with a bang.

At first, I didn't care for the book, but something kept me coming back. I'm glad I did, because it turned out great. A twist I didn't see coming (which rarely happens ) and some interesting tweaks to the werewolf / skinwalker mythos.
