My Darkest Prayer by S.A. Cosby

Alex’s first review of the year

really liked it
3.5*s rounded up.

You can definitely tell Cosby has grown as a storyteller since this (his first full-length published novel) was released. A bit heavy-handed and over the top; especially with the opposite sex, the main character’s strength and temper, and everyone getting their “due justice in a not-so-neat little bow.

I’d only read this one if you’re already a fan of S.A. and can’t wait for his next release.

Alex’s last review of the year

really liked it
This reads like Uncle Steve envisioned/imagined the real-life BTK’s wife finding out about who he was before he got caught; and the impossible layered decisions that would have to be made afterward.

Very interesting concept. Short, but well done.
