really liked it
I inhaled this book. It's one of those that you either love, with all its flaws, or you hate it.

It's got toxic relationships, miscommunication, frustrating, lying, douche of a MMC (but also caring in his own way??) and a little doormat of a heroine, who does her bestest considering her situation. I liked how her PTSD is being portrayed, and I have a feeling she'll grow into her own as the series goes on.

it was ok
This started really well, but went to shit mid way through. Too much inner monologue from the FMC, too much of nothing happening, of non-consequential events. The FMC was basically the MMC's therapist, and they represent the quintessential 'I can fix him' relationship.
