really liked it
I loved The Worst Witch series (and the 90s TV show) when I was around 7 or 8. This series had me running around outside, pretending to do magic and fly on a broomstick. I read this before Harry Potter was popular, and I remain convinced that JKR took a lot of inspiration from this series. There are many similarities, as other reviewers have mentioned, though The Worst Witch was written for a younger audience. I reread this book for the nostalgia

If I could give this book 6 stars, I would. The stakes were high, and Sanderson delivered. My favourite read of the year, so far.
