really liked it
It took a couple of chapters before this book engaged me, but after it did, I enjoyed it immensely. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more behind-the-scenes stuff, but I came the conclusion that that would probably be difficult to obtain and what the author did uncover, while some of it was known to me, other parts weren't. This was a nice, fun holiday read. It didn't break any barriers as far as story goes - a woman who's just lost her job goes home for Christmas and ... you can probably guess what happens next. It was light and easy, and I liked most of the characters, although I was disappointed that one particular character didn't get an additional scene to resolve the situation created in the story.
