it was amazing
Reading new authors is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're going to get. Ratings don't help much, though fairly detailed reviews can - and those run the risk of spoiling the book.

I've thoroughly enjoyed both Judicator Jane books. The main problem with them is there's no way he can write them as fast as I want to read them.

His characters are nicely fleshed out and seem true to themselves even when mis-guessing Jane's motives. Near
