After Ember Blade, I felt it was about time I gave this series a second chance

I thought that things had gotten as bad as they could for Zeke, but how could I possibly have expected... TEENAGE HORMONES! AAAAAHHH!!!!

for some reason I want to refer to this as Zeke's Zekeventures in Moses Malone Land (in reference to the Strong Bad creation, "The Cheat's Cheatventures in Moses Malone Land), but I'm not sure why... it's a conundrum; but yeah, Zeke's Zekeventures in Moses Malone Land have been much more entertaining since he met up with the other Randoms

Wow, people talk about how funny this book is but DAMN, that's a DARK start, we've got a dead parent, another parent dying of a terrible wasting illness, and we've got a kid who's not only bullied and made a scapegoat but also ostracized by people who barely know him. I appreciate the pop culture references, but yikes, this is morbid; maybe the funny comes later?

Is it sad that in one day I've made more progress on this book than I've made on Witchy Kingdom in 2 months... ah well... just goes to show, LIMIT YOUR POV'S!!!! Ahem...

Unless this book SEVERELY stumbles in the last 50 pages, it's getting 5 stars. It lives up to the hype.

100ish pages to go! Unlike earlier where I was certain everything was abut to go wrong, I really have no clue how this is going to end, but I'm really excited to find out
