This book doesn't explain its points fully.

I wish this book labelled where its quotes have come from...

Not the best written of the series, but it's very helpful in refreshing prior knowledge and highlighting where I need to study further.

... I can't.
But I'm sure there's other people who will enjoy this.

There's some weird grammar in this book.

This is not something I'd usually read.
The book has a weak start with phrasing my editor hat would have red-penned. However... As I get into it... The story is very engaging. I'm very interested in the fate of the main characters.
Also, mafia stories hook me, so there's that too.

This is a really good book.

Have to take some of the facts with a pinch of salt, but so far a good overview. Very occasionally the semantics are loose or there's a typo, so the book could have done with another look from the editor.

I wish Kevin O'Donnell would stop comparing aspects of different faith to his.
I really don't care.

Kevin O'Donnell describes perfectly how interfaith dialogue can occur without diluting or changing your own beliefs. It simply means listening to each other, agreeing to disagree, being tolerant yet deeply committed to your own position. By doing so you can increase levels of cooperation in development of peace and justice issues. It can overcome social prejudice that perhaps both sides never realised that they had.

I feel that one of the most difficult aspects of writing a biography is deciding where to draw the line on the level of detail to particular aspect's of one's life. While there are many wonderful insights, there are times when the level of detail is jarring. The briefness of some chapters (later to be developed several chapters later) and the almost cheesy detail of other aspects, such as Aung San Suu Kyi's marriage.

Apparently toxic middle class journalists complained about people being in their pyjamas in public.
Personally, I prefer the kind of culture where I can go out in whatever I want without being judged.

Interesting... But also surprisingly slow to read.
Skipped the preface.... Kind of annoying to read the author's endless counter arguments to their book's critics.

This book has successfully helped me understand that fossil collecting is not for me!

So far, so interesting, but certainly requires a dictionary to read alongside with words like 'Parochialism' spewed across the pages. Perhaps I'm just illiterate and/or not Oxbridge educated?

Makes me wonder if I should pitch to publishers...
