(1) Ginny starts dating Michael Corner, Ron hates Michael Corner... it's math.
(2) Hermione: "It says in Hogwarts, A History that the founders thought boys were less trustworthy than girls."
- On the whole, sure. Though a girl is the book's big turncoat.
(3) Harry: "Don’t worry, I’ll behave myself..."
- Moments after founding a clandestine outlaw combat guild.

(1) Well, I'm nearly finished with this. Now I've got to hunker down and write my review. I simultaneously hate writing reviews but love finishing reviews. It's like exercise, and Harry Potter reviews are especially stressful and demanding on account of the extra attention.

(1) "Cornelius, I am ready to fight your men and win again!"
- Dumbledore giving orders to Fudge while still an enemy of the state is one of the series most boss moments.
(2) Phineas Nigellus: "You see, Dumbledore? ... Never try to understand the students. They hate it. They would much rather be tragically misunderstood..."
- A bit cynical, but he's not incorrect.

(1) Neville: "A brain attacked Ron but I think he’s all right and Hermione’s unconscious, but we could feel a pulse "
- You'd think all the time fighting with Hermione would have better prepared Ron to fight another brain.
(2) Voldemort calls Bellatrix "Bella"... wonder if he's a "Twilight" fan?
(3) It's easy to forget that people still think Sirius is a murderer.

(1) "[Harry] just wanted to get them all out of this alive, make sure that none of his friends paid a terrible price for his stupidity."
- That's certainly a good reason.
(2) Harry: "How come Voldemort wants it?"
Bellatrix: "You dare speak his name?"
Harry: "Yeah."
- Good answer, Harry. Very forthright.
(3) Ron: "Accio brain!"
- C'mon, Ron, you've already got brains.

(1) Hermione treats Luna like McGonagall treats Trelawney. With open disdain at the mere mention of absurdities, but with affection and friendship when faced against a common enemy.
(2) Harry, Luna and Neville being the only ones who can hear voices behind the veiled archway should have been a light bulb moment, since they're also the only ones who can see thestrals.

Harry: "She got carried away."

- Even in life-threatening situations there's always time for jokes.

a security troll, so "
Ginny: "I’ve got a broom!"
- Ginny being invisible to Harry again. He'll change his tune next book.

(1) '"What did you call us?" shouted a wild-looking black centaur, whom Harry recognized as Bane.'
- Bane? I bet he was born in the darkness.
- In my head he's voiced by Tom Hardy.
(2) "Real tears [slid] down [Hermione's] face now. “We haven’t done anything to hurt you ... we just want to go back to school.
- Of course she wants to go back to school, she's Hermione.

(1) Umbridge: "They were all bleating about silencing you ... but I was the one who actually did something about it ... Only you wriggled out of that one, didn’t you, Potter?"
- How very "If it wasn't for you meddling kids..."
(2) "Though Hermione was sobbing desperately into her hands, there was no trace of a tear."
- Great! Cries all the time, but now she's unable!

(1) "The confederation had met for the first time in France ... Goblins had tried to attend and been ousted ... And nobody from Liechtenstein had wanted to come."
- Typical Liechtenstein, always going their own way.

- Well, not the worst complex to have.

(1) Hermione loves elves but hates giants... a bit hypocritical if you ask me. Also ironic since nearly every elf hates her, but Grawp adores her.
(2) 'Harry raised his wand, looked directly at Umbridge, and imagined her being sacked.
"Expecto Patronum!"'
- Sure, that's a happy thought... though, if it were me, I'd add some sort of humiliation to make it extra happy.

The lack of self-awareness is exquisite :)

And not only because I can imagine what fun Dan Radcliff had playing all the different versions of "himself" 😂 🤣

Happy you like it! Makes me wonder whether I should have specific gifs for specific people... like ringtones. Possibly that would just have to happen organically, like how something becomes a running joke. Anyway, I'll make this one yours. Not to say I won't use it in other occasions where it's fitting, but I'll use it extra often for you :)

Oh, no worries. I do try to keep things interesting and not use the same gifs too often. Some I'll use more often than not because they come in so handy. My current favorite, for example, is this one:

Don't know why but l just read this conversation in Maggie Smith's voice 😂
Especially your sentence: l agree with that kid

#classicenabler

Like rather than suggesting to stay out of trouble you can probably give some advice to how to have adventure!!!!
Imagine you being Sirius 2.0

But I do believe in encouraging friends to live their best lives and do what makes them happy so long as it doesn't hurt anyone 🤩
We only get to do this once in this form in any case 😈

Well, she's Irish... fairies are sort of their thing :)

Better believe it. This isn't the first time you've brought up being a "shoulder demon." In fact, I've used the gif below in our conversations several times, bringing it back to gif frequency :)

'Tis true, she speaks to you out of the fire and everything, you know, being a demon and all :)

Because forming a secret combat guild is absolutely nothing. It's something that you do everyday *lol*

Yeah, there are plenty of examples: Rita Skeeter, Umbridge, Aunt Marge, Bellatrix, Cho's redhead friend, etc. I wouldn't trust any of them. And, yeah, it's nice girls are given the benefit of the doubt in the wizarding world, at least :)
Alexandra Elend Wolf wrote: "Because forming a secret combat guild is absolutely nothing. It's something that you do everyday *lol*"
Perhaps he's speaking relatively. You know, compared to dodging dragons, fighting basilisks, going back in time, freeing alleged mass murderers, and the like :)

Oh yes, a great number. You forgot Romilda Vane.
Right. His daily activities are so simple and definitely don't top forming a secret fight club... I mean, he has to do that repeately instead of just once so... the real challenge is the persistance XD

Of course, Romilda! Few things say untrustworthy more than attempting to drug someone to make them act against their will. It's like the Imperius Curse, really.

Harry Potter certainly lives a complicated life 😁

Totally agree with you. I figure, McGonagall or Snape would have done exactly the same thing. No one wants to see that. Either get a room or take it outside 😕

She's a former politician and bureaucrat. Power is currency and ultimate ambition of those professions. Achieving some measure of authority's probably a career goal. It makes sense that she's drinking it in. Also, she enjoys making others unhappy.
