What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Janet Finsilver I currently don't have a summer reading list. I'll be doing the final editing of MURDER AT THE MUSHROOM FESTIVAL as well as writing the outline for the fifth book tentatively titled MURDER AT THE MARINA. When I DO have time, I want to read the first book in Lynn Cahoon's Tourist Trap Mysteries!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Janet Finsilver I think it's important to write because you love to do it. I encourage people to keep that as a focus. If you decide to sell your work, just keep at submitting it if you receive rejections. There are many stories of successful authors making it after being rejected multiple times.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Janet Finsilver I'm working on my fourth book tentatively titled MURDER AT THE MUSHROOM FESTIVAL. The event in the book is based on mushroom activities that take place in Mendocino, California.
