Of course, I did. When I was twelve, during my first sailing trip on the Baltic Sea I have been extremely sick three longest days of my life. I couldn't eat, speak, move and I thought I gonna die. It stopped after three days and I have never had seasickness again.
I understand how strong it can be and always try to help when someone gets sick. There are tricks helping survive the period when seasickness is very strong like watching the horizon, being on the deck, breathing fresh air, jewing ginger...ear patches can help for sure too.
My story with seasickness is very common. Usually, people are sick two, three days when conditions are bad. Let's take it as a small contribution we have to pay for enjoying open waters. Cheers !!!
