Dennis Taylor answered Liam Ortiz's question: This question contains spoilers鈥� (view spoiler) 1. They didn't have the tech figured out for non-humans yet (I think this was mentioned in Heaven's River). 2. Yes. In fact it's an idea for a future book.

Dennis Taylor answered Spencer Biegun's question: How did you come up with the story of Bob? I am a huge fan. I even took care of my father when he battled cancer and read your books to him since he couldn't read any more. They lit up our lives...and with his passing, they still light up my life! It's loosely based on a combination of A World Out of Time by Larry Niven and The Ship Who Sang by Anne McCaffrey. But I had to make Bob electronic in order to allow replication.
