Jetpacks and Certain Death with Randall Munroe
What If? Available Now:
Indie Bound
Amazon
Barnes & Noble
BAM! [Books-a-million]
Google Play
iBooks
For years, xkcd has been delighting the internet with startlingly human stick figures, a wide-angle view of humanity, and a surprising amount of math. Randall Munroe, the guy behind that web comic has also been spending the last couple years providing people with extremely technical answers to absurd hypothetical questions like "What would happen if my DNA vanished" and "Could I build a jet pack out of machine guns?"
His delightful, insightful, and occasionally frightful answers have been catalogued in his new beautiful book "What If?"
And that book is the topic of our hangout. Also the internet...Also math and science...Also my gigantic man-crush on him.
