As a last minute update to the Paris booksingin, Peter writes in with the following:

"I will be signing books at the Paris book fair on Saturday 14 March at 2pm and Sunday 15 March at 4pm. I don't know the exact location, but I'm sure it will be signposted. If you are in the city and want to say hello, please feel free to come along. Be warned my French is very bad, but there is a translator with me."

Peter will be going to the Paris Book Fair Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 March 2009. His French publisher Bragelonne will be organizing some events and signings in Paris. More details will be announced here as they become available.

Mark Chitty over at The Unisphere is running a competition to win a copy of The Dreaming Void Audio CD. Check out his site to find out the details. The competition closes on November 16th so don't waste any time.

Since many people ask about eBook versions of Peter's books: The Temporal Void will be issued as an eBook around the end of this month. It will be available from the MacMillan website and Amazon UK.

There have been several comments in the guestbook about availability of The Temporal Void in the UK. There are two separate issues at play here:

Regarding the Waterstones limited edition: There was a problem at the printers with the box they come in, and it all had to be redone. They will be in the stores by 24th Oct.

In addition, Borders has got a new distribution centre, and are having trouble with all new books. They hope to be back on track soon.

"The Temporal Void", the new book by Peter Hamilton is released today - if you haven't got one yet - WHY NOT??!!
