Courtney Walsh is a novelist, theatre director, and playwright. She writes small town romance and women's fiction while juggling the performing arts studio and youth theatre she owns and runs with her husband. Her debut, A Sweethaven Summer, hit the New York Times and USA Today e-book bestseller lists. Her novel, Just Let Go, won the Carol Award in 2019 and Just One Kiss was a 2020 Christy Award Finalist.

A creative at heart, Courtney has also written two craft books and several full-length musicals. She lives in Illinois with her husband and three children and a sometimes naughty Bernedoodle named Luna.

I went back to figure out when was the last time I sent out a newsletter and discovered it was in March. I鈥檓 not proud of this. I have had so much to share, but I鈥檝e been busy (aren鈥檛 we all?) and it鈥檚 kept me out of your inbox.聽

Courtney Walsh answered Anna's question: Hi Courtney! Let's start by saying that I really love your books! I want to do a challenge where I read books that my favourite authors recommended me. Since you're one of my favourite authors, what is your favourite book? It can be a book that you have written yourself, but a book from another author is also good. :) Thank you! Hmm... I think my favorite book I've written might be The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley. I can't explain it, but Isadora is so so special to me, so I think I'd have to go with that one! :)
