“Writing isn't about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it's about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life, as well. It's about getting up, getting well, and getting over. Getting happy, okay? Getting happy.”

“There open up, deep inside a city, reflected streets, streets which are double, make-believe streets. And thanks for accepting! We have a ton of friends in common :-).

Thank you for the acceptance, then. As you can see from my profile, I'm a pretty active ŷ member and enjoy connecting with fellow readers and getting their recs. It's kind of the only social site I enjoy, honestly, cause it's all about books.

I generally do not accept invitations from authors, particularly because many seem to be seeking readership. Also I like to keep my "friends" list small so that we can really keep in touch. I have met several! I enjoy your writing in"Hanna" and I am a long time Massachusetts resident so, here I am!

I don't think I know anyone personally who did not love ATL. But reading is so personal, you never know. Thanks for the acceptance!

Im very pleased to meet you :)"
You too, Maria! Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.

Thanks so much for your kind message about my review of A Boy in Winter. Will you please PM me so we can talk more about reviewing your forthcoming book?

You too, I'll try to keep up ;-).

I think it's great that you read so much and keep authors posted. We don't hear enough from readers.

I used to feel like I was 'stalking' Pia Z. Ehrhardt over the internet, because I kept crossing her path. Now I feel that way about you. I promise it's not 'intentional,' ;) but I can't imagine having better literary company!

Thanks, Teresa! Our paths keep crossing, don't they??? Glad you read that journal and that you found the story. I was impressed with the issue as a whole. Love how they represent all genres on one theme.

Thank you very very much for adding, accepting me as your friend, thanks for your comment in book excerpts too..you have around 162 friends, and it requires a great talent to locate friends comment and to answer it.

Thanks, liked your review of the new TC Boyle book.
I'll let you know when the book will be ready. I hear mid-May?
Not sure why goodreads was giving you a hard time on the comments page. Hopefully a one-time glitch!
