Audio Pharmacology @ Blue1647, April 12
What is Audio Pharmacology? What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body/mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health.
Sound Healing can be transmitted to a person in a number of ways:
 Through using their own voice
Through using their voice with other voices
Created by Shannon Harris, Audio Pharmacology is an integrative technique of ancient healing systems used in a form of medicinal music and visuals. It uses the Five Element System (Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, Fire) coupled with other sight and sound modalities to aid in the sensational process of tonal healing through inspirational meditation. With the use of deep breathing, color, light, sacred images, elemental/ environmental audio references, energy/ organ system frequency balancing, and binaural/monaural brain waves the experience induces vibrational harmony to its practitioners.
Afrofuturism849 hosts DJ Shannon Harris for a Healing workshop @ Blue 1647 April 12 at 5pm.
Hope to see you there!
