It doesn't matter if what I write is complete garbage, since I can always go back and fix it, but the most important thing is just to write SOMETHING. Writer's block is best overcome by forcing yourself to just start, and not worrying about how inelegant, irrelevant or illegible the writing is. Once you get started, 90% of the time the creative juices will start flowing - often in delightfully unexpected ways.(less)
