Here’s the blurb. It’s going to be one hell of a comic!

Looking for a few beta readers!
Hi everyone! Just finished up the final draft for the next book in the World’s Scariest Legends series. It’s called The Dancing Plague. It’s going to be divided into two volumes because of its length. The first volume is a coming-of-age tale set in the 1980s. The second volume (which I’m only starting to write now) will be set thirty years later in the present, with the same characters (only of course as adults).
Here’s a brief description of the first volume on Amazon:
If you’d like to participate in the beta read and get an ARC, please just email me and I’ll send you a Bookfunnel link where you can download a mobi, epub, PDF etc.
jeremybatesbooks (at) gmail (dot) com
If you’ve never done anything like this before, it’s super simple: Just have a read of the manuscript, and if you find any typos, or anything that sticks out as unnecessary, just let me know. Your feedback can be a few sentences to however much you want to write.
Thanks for listening! Please ge tin touch if you’re interested.
Best
Jeremy

World’s Scariest Legends 4 MERFOLK (beta readers wanted)
Hi, folks. The title says it all really! Just finished book 4 in the series, and am looking for a couple of new beta readers. Two editors have already gone over the manuscript, so it’s quite clean. But there are always a few annoying little typos etc that get through, which I’d like to hammer out before publication which is July 8, by the way. So! If you’re interested, please send me an email at jeremybatesbooks @ gmail.com
Thanks so much!

Beta-readers for Hotel Chelsea

Hello everyone!
Well, it’s that time again. I’ve just finished the sixth book in the World’s Scariest Places series called Hotel Chelsea and I’m looking for a few new beta readers.
Becoming a beta reader is really quite simple. I already have a few that have stuck with me book after book, but with each new release it’s nice to get a few more.
Pretty much, I would email you a PDF or epub or Kindle file, and you read it as you would any book. If you catch some typos, that’s great. If you have a suggestion here or there, that’s great too. Some beta readers send me 5-10 typos. Some send many more than that. But it all helps in the end.
Whatever works for you!
So if you’re interested, please just email me at jeremybatesbooks (at) gmail (dot) com
Or contact me through my website:
Hope to hear from anyone interested!
Best
Jeremy

Gutenberg Sample Post
This is some dummy copy. You’re not really supposed to read this dummy copy, it is just a placeholder for people who need some type to visualize what the actual copy might look like if it were real content.

If you want to read, I might suggest a good book, perhaps Melville. That’s why they call it, the dummy copy. This, of course, is not the real copy for this entry. Rest assured, the words will expand the concept. With clarity. Conviction. And a little wit.
Nice to meet you, Gutenberg
In today’s competitive market environment, the body copy of your entry must lead the reader through a series of disarmingly simple thoughts.

All your supporting arguments must be communicated with simplicity and charm. And in such a way that the reader will read on. (After all, that’s a reader’s job: to read, isn’t it?) And by the time your readers have reached this point in the finished copy, you will have convinced them that you not only respect their intelligence, but you also understand their needs as consumers.

As a result of which, your entry will repay your efforts. Take your sales; simply put, they will rise. Likewise your credibility. There’s every chance your competitors will wish they’d placed this entry, not you. While your customers will have probably forgotten that your competitors even exist. Which brings us, by a somewhat circuitous route, to another small point, but one which we feel should be raised.

This is dummy copy. It is not meant to be read. Accordingly, it is difficult to figure out when to end it. If this were real copy, it would have ended long ago, because as we all know no one reads body copy, and even fewer read body copy this long. But then, this is dummy copy. It is not meant to be read. Period.
