Pamela King is the author of Merigal Dingoes, For the Love of a Dingo and Angel with Drumsticks.

She is President of the Wollondilly Branch of the Fellowship of Australian Writers NSW Inc and serves as Committee member of the state body.

Her autobiographical stories Dingo Ambassador, Sassy and My Tuesdays were selected for inclusion in three consecutive issues of Seniors Stories (2017 � 2019) produced by the NSW Government.

Two stories and a poem were selected for publication in Writers of Wollondilly Anthology 2018.

She spent many years as a volunteer dingo handler, sponsor, promotions officer and board member with the Australian Native Dog Conservation Society (Merigal Dingo Sanctuary)

I don't need much inspiration for my current project. Simply looking over photos of Berenice and her beautiful Dingoes is usually enough to give me inspiration even if it means starting on another part of her story to the one I was working on.(less)

Hostie � A Dingo’s Career in Public Relations

In 1994 a five-week-old pup was selected to be the mascot for the AussieHost customer service training programme in the Macarthur region. She was named AussieHost but became known just as ‘Hostie�. She received socialisation from that age demonstrating the importance of early and constant contact with humans to overcome timidity in dingoes.
