Suman Pokhrel is a Nepali poet, lyricist, playwright, translator and artist. His poems have been translated into various languages and are appeared in notable journals worldwide. His poetry is included in the curriculum of language and literature study at two universities in Nepal and three universities in India. His theatrical and lyrical works have been performed in USA and in some countries of Asia and Europe.

Suman Pokhrel has translated and published works of more than one hundred writers and poets from around the world into Nepali, English, Hindi and Urdu languages. He has eight books in his credit including three books of translation.
