“know this one great truth: you are in control of your own life. You get one and only one chance to live, and life is passing you by. Stop beating yourself up, and dang it, stop letting others do it too. Stop accepting less than you deserve. Stop buying things you can’t afford to impress people you don’t even really like. Stop eating your feelings instead of working through them. Stop buying your kidsâ€ love with food, or toys, or friendship because it’s easier than parenting. Stop abusing your body and your mind. Stop! Just get off the never-ending track.”

“In our twenties, when there is still so much time ahead of us, time that seems ample for a hundred indecisions, for a hundred visions and revisions—we draw a card, and we must decide right then and there whether to keep that card and discard the next, or discard the first card and keep the second. And before we know it, the deck has been played out and the decisions we have just made will shape our lives for decades to come.”

“See that's where you're wrong baby. When you find your man, it's almost too easy. Gettin' married and havin' a mortgage, kids and a business to run and findin' a way to stay in love day in day out, that's the tougher part. But the beginning'â€ that parts easy as pie. That's why they call it fallin' because it happens before you have time to stop yourself.”

I see you are a fan of Anna Campbell. She did a guest post on my blog on 26th August about What a Duke Dares, book 3 of the Sons of Sin series, which you might like to read. I have also reviewed the first three books in the series.

Hahaha, I know my opinion about Outlander makes most people cringe and call me names, but what can I say? It didn't work for me. Everyone has that one book that makes them think they're "weird". Outlander is mine. ;)
