After meeting a weird old man who turns out to be her mentor, and later a ghostly apparition who says she is her spirit guardian, 14-year-old Trinity is not only completely flummoxed, but also rather annoyed to be singled out or 'chosen' in this manner. She just wants to be a normal teenager and get on with her life. It's only when one of her best friends is kidnapped by demons in a ghastly attempt to lure her into their lair, that Trinity realises and begins to understand her special power of hydrokinesis.
