Life lessons from The Fault In Our Stars Book

“If you don’t live a life in service of a greater good, you’ve gotta at least die a death in service of a greater good, you know?

Augustus, The fault in our stars

The Fault in Our Stars is a novel by John Green that has been adapted into a film. It is about two people who meet at a support group for cancer patients and fall in love. The book is about their relationship, as well as their experiences with each other and the world around them.

The characters in this story are very relatable to most people who have ever experienced a loss or had to overcome an obstacle in life. This book will change the way you look at the world around you.

The following are life lessons from The Fault In Our Stars:

Life is short

You should enjoy every moment of your life because you never know when it might end. Don’t waste time thinking about things that wont happen because you could die tomorrow and never get the chance to do those things again.

Love yourself first

It’s important to love yourself before anyone else can love you because if they don’t like who they see when they look at you then they’re not worth having a space in your life anyway. You have to take care of yourself first to that when other people come along they wont push their way into your world but rather join into it instead.

Dont be afraid of taking risks

Augustus encouraged Hazel to take risks and enjoy life even though she knew that it might might end soon for her. He showed her how important it was not to waste time being afraid of the unknown and just go after on what makes you happy in this world, whether in simple actions or following your dreams.

Honoring love

The most important thing in life is love: love for yourself, love for others and the courage to express it, even people call you weird or different, wrong, uncool, desperate or whatever else they might say because they’re too afraid to say what they really mean.

Love conquers all

Hazel and Augustus find love despite their illness and they make the most of it while they can. They don’t let anything stand in their way of being together, even if it means going against their doctor’s order or risking their lives by traveling to another place.

The Fault in Our Stars is a popular novel that teaches a lot of important lessons about love, life and grief. By catalizing these lessons we can gain new found wisdom to live by. It teaches how to love each other and live life to the fullest and finding happiness in the time we have been given, and those are lessons that are worth passing on no matter what age we are. Also, the book teaches that everything happens for a reason, that some things are worth fighting for, and that sometimes health comes at the cost of happiness. To maximize the potential in our lives, we must seize every chance that presents itself, and it’s just as important to understand that sometimes everything doesn’t work out as planned.
