Kevin I am delighted to hear that there is going to be a fourth Gil & Mike story. And the fact that you are going to bring out a re-working of Blood and Lust too is just the icing on the cake, even if is a year away before publication. Wasn`t old enough to read the original because I was barely a little ickle teenager when it came out via HIM but glad all the same I can read it now, well soon anyway. Thanks again and again for all the fun times home alone with a good read and a box of tissues, and I am not talking Mills & Boon induced sentimentality, hehehehehe.

Zack Zack Thanks, Kevin. Sorry I can't speed the publisher up!

Kevin The books will be all the more enjoyable because of the anticipation that the period in between publications will bring. By the way I recently bought The Terminal Man and that was a tour through my teenage memories all over again - seeing all those vivid colours once more in the depictions of an amazing story coupled to the conception of setting it all on a component world of a Dyson Sphere, is breathtaking even now. Particularly, since I had at the time no concept of what a Dyson Sphere was, or was in any way familiar with the idea of nanotechnology enhanced biological beings. You were streets ahead of everyone else weren`t you and only now after we have all grown up, society included, can we appreciate your talent fully. Unless of course you have more flashes of brilliance still waiting to blind us with? Thanks we owe you a lot for the dreams and fantasies we all hold dear now in adulthood.

Zack Zack Thanks, again, Kevin. I'm always sorry I never got to finish the planned second story. More recently, comic-strip effort has gone into Bike Boy and Bike Boy Rides Again.

I also note that you penned a long piece on 16 August about a prequel to Boys of Vice City, and apologies for not seeing it sooner (I'm a bit lazy over checking Å·±¦ÓéÀÖâ€). Roger has also seen it now, and it has sparked some enthusiasm for a Mike-alone storyâ€

Kevin Dear Zach & Roger,

Thanks for replying. A second story to The Terminal Man now I am tingling, but it is understandable that you have not been able to complete that work while concentrating on Bike Boy and Bike Boy Rides Again.

With regard to the Mike-alone story I`ll send you a message via your blog.

All the best, Kevin.

Kevin Hi Zack & Roger,

I am going to seem like a silly stalker writing all these messages but I have just read the brief summary, via your Zack the Artist site, on the new books coming in 2013 - Raw Recruits, Boys of the Fast Lane & Blood and Lust.

Firstly, I love the cover art - amazing - the use of colour and character expression is as usual a huge draw to the eye, and a frustrating glimpse of what lies within.

Second, I won`t want to spoil anything by discussing what happens to Gil & Mike in the summary of Boys of the Fast Lane but it promises to be very good. What I am really looking forward to is Raw Recruits - a very contempory story about what has been an evident sideline, or after action career, for most service men in the last three or four years. Just look at the easily identifiable regiment tattoos of the porn performers on any of recent content generated from the US, and the usual off camera work these well built young men are willing to do based on their popular web and dvd work.

Blood and Lust is another one I am looking forward to reading all the more because of the summary. I have always thought money has always brought the worst out in most people as they`re tired by their basic needs being easily fulfilled and look and pay for more extreme forms of gratification and entertainment - very Russian Oligarch, amongst others of equal great wealth, methinks.

Surely the art and the topical reads that these books will provide will have them wizzing off the Amazon shelves faster than anything you have seen this year with the release of the other two Gil & Mike stories.

I said it before and I will say it again they can`t become available fast enough for me, I love a good sex story and even better when backed by good art of an equally graphic kind.

And that reminds me, would you ever consider doing a quick little illustration for a future publication of the Backroom in the Roma Hustler Bar where Gil is surprised to see `here and there a flickering candle revealed shrouded shapes moving... and shocked to witness the raw abandon of the hustlers and their customers `... some couples were occupying the cubicles but others hadn`t bothered and were already stark naked and fucking right there in middle, of the room...` There is a story board all there waiting to be picked out in black and indigo with flashes of yellow candle light. You could call it Backroom Boy Rides Rome Again and Again, or something like that? Just an idea.

Besides which Paolo`s character was never fully delved in to, in my biased opinion, and deserves a bigger going in to as to his obviously practiced skill as a Roman hustler.

Well that is about me done now and hope you are not too peeved by my constant comments and not too subtle nagging. Look forward to December for Boys of Two Cities where I will most likely write another essay on how I enjoyed it and blah, blah, blah.

All the best and hope all the more for more success for you both in the future. XXX

Zack Zack Hi Kevin,

More food for thought!!!

BTW, have you posted a review for Disco City :))

message 8: by Kevin (last edited Oct 15, 2012 01:38PM) (new)

Kevin Yep posted the review on here and on both my Amazon accounts. Although I am not so sure people will share my perspective because maybe my education and life experience cause me to see things a little differently?

My first real BF was a cinema owner in the little Welsh town where I lived and thus have something of an insight in to the exhibitioning end of the Film Trade. I was the young charming one dragged alone to the film shows and such but they were mostly populated by straight guys and their families because in the 90s it was all family films that made the money - Home Alone, Beethoven, and anything from Disney. Thats what got the little sugar junkies to sit in their seats only leaving them to buy more sweets from the in house confectionary stall. UCI and Odeon made their real profits from Mars and Cadbury products, rather than those produced from the likes of UIP, Fox, Warner and Colombia Tristar.

Occasionally we would go to places like Brighton for a couple of days for special Exhibitor`s Fair and such like but I mainly stayed out of that and went off to have my own fun else where - Earls Mound and other places. And there I could tell you some stories but you have probably heard them all before from others. As they usually fall in to a regular pattern of behaviour - boy goes to cruising area, gets cock out, gets sucked, crowd builds around him, queue forms for everyone to take a turn, etc. Boy comes a few times with breaks for a breather in between, then tramps back to BF and fucks him. Same old, same old.

Right off to make a nice cup of tea and some cheese on toast and then off to bed. Busy day tomorrow and lots to do.

Thanks for taking the time to write back to what must be loads of emails, it makes me feel quite honoured to have a reply from someone who has inadvently given me so much pleasure - The Terminal Man and the Trigan Empire (the story of the midget humanoid aliens and their crashed ship and the later revenge of their insectoid enemies still is redolent as it was a formative memory of mine of good and evil) and now Mike and Gil and maybe Mike alone. Good times had and more to come I am sure. Many thanks. Kevin. XXX
