I usually like to read the book first too, sometimes I listen to the audiobook edition instead of re-reading my favorites.





I agree, I would have mentioned that any books by some of my favorite narrators would be on my list. Sometimes, I pick the book because of the narrator, not the author, because I love what they do to the book and bring it to live. on that list would be Kate Rudd, Elizabeth Evans & Fiona Hardingham. They are not always on the top narrator lists, but they are for me!


I just read that NETFLIX just got the rights to do an adaptation for the screen! How very exciting. It's a perfect story to translate to that format. I hope they do it as a multi-part mini-series rather than trying to fit it into the usual 2-3 hour movie!
