Do I have to read the shades of magic series to understand this book?

Anna I would say yes. This is a sequel series and there are many events that happen in Shades of Magic that are referenced or directly impact plot points iâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðI would say yes. This is a sequel series and there are many events that happen in Shades of Magic that are referenced or directly impact plot points in Threads of Power. The book assumes you have already read Shades of Magic and many things will not make any sense if you read this one first.(less)

Caroline When this project was first announced, she said 2020 at the absolute earliest. I believe she recently said that it would hopefully come out in 2021.
