I really want to start reading some of Patricia A. McKillip's books, but I don't know where to start. Do they go in an order? Is there a specific one I should start with? Please help!

E.A. Lawrence As far as I know, there is no particular order to her books. I believe that she is best know for her Riddlemaster trilogy. While that is a good series, it is not my favorite. Od Magic, Winter Rose, and the Forgotten Beasts of Eld are my favorite books of hers. I did also recently finish an anthology of her short stories entitled Harrowing the Dragon that was a fun read overall. I think that you should dive into whatever title appeals to you the most but, for what's it's worth, my gateway McKillip book was the Forgotten Beasts of Eld. I hope that this helps!(less)
