I liked it. I really liked how the author owned feminism and that she is looks out for other women and the opportunities they may be missing out on.
Although I understand that the collective media has basically lost their minds on her work, on both ends of the spectrum, as a young (ish?) women trying to navigate a career without any clear path, or professional support, the topics covered in the book reiterated what I knew deep inside, but have not had the chance to hear from anyone else. I could critique this book for all of the things it doesn’t do. I could write about how as a childfree black woman who has never worked in corporate America, I found many parts of her story totally unrelatable. But what would be the point of that? The personal is still political, and for Sandberg, this is her experience. Most of this book I really couldn't relate to because let's face it, I can't relate to CEO millionaires. And most of the women she talks about were well off before they became leaders. However, there was some very interesting and useful information when you get past the RA RA for women part. I found the Heidi/Howard experiment VERY interesting. I can relate to a boss giving a review and saying that "she is very successful, but not very well liked." I did take notes and will pass some of the info

A great read with an inspiring message! Women need to lean in to leadership roles, run for political office, and sit at the table. In addition, men and women need to work together to create true equality both in the workplace and at home. And teach our children to have an equality-based mindset. What would you do if you weren't afraid?

A little repetitive and gives the feel of having to listen to someone unload their "stuff"
