Long winded beginning, sped up later. Nicely set up. Kept waiting for the wife to get her comeuppance and was let down with the ending. Maybe there is a part 2? Thanks Jane and Diana for encouraging me to read this. This is a war of the roses scenario with no end in sight. Twisted and macabre.
The only thing that struck me as negative about this book is that we really don't need books/movies/television to perpetuate the stereotype that women lie about rape. It's the only reason I couldn't give this book five stars. It was an inventive page turner that left me thinking during rare moments in which I put it down!

Definite page turner, although I found both narrators/lead characters hugely unsympathetic by the end. By the end of the book, I could not understand how these people chose to continue to live the kind of life they did, except maybe DRAMA, but in the end, I truly felt they deserved each other.
If you like books/movies/TV shows about terrible people who treat each other horribly in creative ways, this is the book for you!

Liked the way the narrative flowed - disappointed in his weakness.
Definitely a good read but I'm a fan of justice and didn't care for the ending. Oh well.
