Amazing. Do these books keep getting better? I was warned by Mom that I would need some tissues with this one. She was right.
I can't say that Zsadist is my favorite brother. I love his tormented soul. He past to finding his way back from the darkness in his soul to the light was a emotional rollercoaster for me. The amount of abuse he endured was heartbreaking. I definately thought that he had found his "shellan" with Bella, they are so well matched.

So we will start with what I didn鈥檛 necessarily like.
Let鈥檚 start at the beginning, I didn鈥檛 really like the fact that Bella was kidnapped for the first 30-40% of the book, it took the brothers a looooong ass time to rescues her like months!!! And I was just ripping my hair out trying to get to the parts about Bella and Z鈥檚 relationship development, I just felt like the kidnapping was dragged out longer than it needed to be and I would have liked to see things speed up a bit more in the beginnin

Throughout the book the main focus is Z and Bella but I felt like in this book a lot more of the focus was on the background characters and background plot, so I would have appreciated a little more focus on just Z and Bella so then there is absolutely no question as to the fact that this book is about Z and Bella鈥檚 relationship, but at the same time Z is kind of an on the outside of the brotherhood so I think ward was trying to show him develop a relationship with everyone in the brotherhood especially with his brother Phury and I for one really appreciated that! don鈥檛 get me wrong there still is a lot of focus on their relationship but definitely not as much focus as the previous books relationship (lover eternal lover awakened)
Now for the last thing that I found the most bothersome and the main reason why I knocked this book down to 3 stars was because I found Bella鈥檚 character so annoying, nothing like Mary鈥檚 or marissa character in the previous books (which is probably the point) I was getting ticked off for how much she was throwing herself at Z, and I mean THROWING!! I hate when heroines pine after hero鈥檚 that constantly reject them it鈥檚 my biggest pet peeve in romance novels, and in this one Bella was constantly throwing herself at him and he was constantly rejecting every advance and then when they finally would touch Z acted as if it was a chore (at least in the beginning) like there鈥檚 only so much rejection a girl can take before your self esteem gets wounded, but apparently not Bella she has no problem getting rejected and constantly going back for more! he rejects her so bad that he literally throws up from touching her now idk about any other ladies out there but if some dude touched my body and got so disgusted that he threw up I would feel like absolute shit and make it my life鈥檚 mission never to see that person again!!!! Now with that being said I the book does go on to explain why and about Z鈥檚 past so it makes sense but he doesn鈥檛 go and apologize for doing that and doesn鈥檛 even tell her about it until she鈥檚 already come back for more from him MULTIPLE times which annoyed the ever loving shit out of me!!!

Now with the negatives out there let me tell you about the positives, I Loved Zs dark and horrible heartbreaking past I loved all of the background characters and fell even more in love with them than I already was and it made me desperate to get my hands on the next book. I really loved Phury and Z together and watching them try to break through a wall separating their relationship together I thought it was beautiful and very very well written. The brotherhood aspect in this book is outstanding and I can really feel that all of these guys are family and would die for each other without the author having to tell u that they would I just really really loved this and I鈥檓 so I love with this series and I would highly recommend to anyone even if your not into vampires the family aspect in this series alone is enough to get you out of a slump! ...more
