I don't read very many contemporaries, but I am so glad I listened to my friend and read this.
Fangirl is a beautiful story about a girl who has to redefine herself when she and her twin sister go to college. The twist it, that even though they are going to the same college, her sister does not want to room together. The main character is also a fanfiction writer, with a pretty large following, which she also choses to define her self by in the beginning.

This book was really hard for me to rate, I really liked the story, but Cath's attitude was AWFUL through almost the whole book. She just kept keeping things to herself, never wanting to talk and bottling up her feelings, bitching and freaking out every time her mom's name came up, and refusing, for a REALLY long time to get over Levi kissing a different girl, when they technically weren't even dating in the first place. I can relate to this book a lot and that's part of why I like it. Every single detail of this book is just fantastic. I love the characters, the idea, the different plot twists, and the Simon Snow fanfics :) I also LOVE Rainbow Rowell's writing style in general. The ending was kinda suckish, but I get why the author ends her books like that now. It is up to YOU and US to decided what will happen next in our own little fanfic site that is our creative and imaginative mind. I love it!

I used to be mega obsessed with Harry Potter so... ;)
And Levi was adorable, just adorable
All the characters were written fabulously and Nick's 'betrayal' and Cath standing up for herself made me so proud of her! :D

This book is amazing I LOVE it!! The characters are very likable and I love all of them, most of all Cath and her relationship with Wren (and how their name came to be!). The romance is also very believable and I absolutely LOVE how everything turned out!! All in all, a FANTASTIC read and I highly recommend it to John Green lovers etc...
