I know that you've done meticulous research in such detail that I feel like I've been there when I've finished one your historical fictions. Have you ever considered Russian history? I am fascinated with the last Tsar and what happened to his family. You would blow us away!

Delighted you're enjoying THE ALICE NETWORK--and I absolutely LOVE Russian history! The heroine of my WIP is Russian, though a bit further forward than Nicholas & Alexandra. She's a WWII bomber pilot from the all-female regiment nicknamed the Night Witches, and I'm having great fun writing her. In future, I'd love to do something set in czarist Russia--who knows?

I just came across your books, and am absolutely in love. I normally don't read much historical fiction as they can sometimes be very dry, and I was wandering the book store one day and came across a copy of the lion and the rose and it was absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait for The Alice Network, so my question is which did you enjoy writing more The Alice Network where is set during WW1 or the previous novels?
