I usually walk away and spend some time thinking through it. Sometimes it doesn't happen write ;) away. Sometimes it can take some time. I would recommend doing whatever you can to separate yourself from your quandary, spend some time doing something else and coming back when you have a clear mind. Never make quick decisions when it comes to writer's block!
