A Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ user asked Emily Larkin:

I enjoyed "My Lady Thief" so much. One of the thing I enjoyed so much about Bella's relationship with Adam was their sense of shared history. I wondered if you prefer writing characters with shared history (also in The Earl's Dilemma), or strangers meeting for the first time, so they have a chance at introductions?

Emily Larkin Interesting question, Summer! You know, I’ve never thought about it before. I think I like a mixture of both. Usually I write about people who don’t know each other falling in love, but sometimes I want to write about characters with a shared history. I really enjoyed writing My Lady Thief. It was fun to tip all Adam and Arabella’s prejudices upside down and watch them learn to see each other through new eyes.
