With the libretto to Andromeda and Perseus being the key to the cypher, it makes Lysander's mother very suspicious (that and all the money she seemed to raise for her charity). The fact that Lysander made sure to have Vandenbrook shot, rather than turning him in for trial, shows that he was covering for her.
