Master and Apprentice is an Adult Novel. The distinction that you can make is that "Del Rey Publishing" publishes the Adult Novels for Star Wars and "Disney-Lucasfilm Press" publishes the YA, Middle Grade(and younger) books for Star Wars.

I'd say it's more of an adult novel more than a YA novel. An argument could be made that it's YA, but it doesn't have that feel to it.

I agree that it is an adult novel but it is completely appropriate for a younger audience.
