When does the story take place? In the beginning she says her mother died not even 60 years old. Kali is 39, so her mother had her at 21? That doesn't add up with the PhD and the time line and her mother being born in '53. Kal was born in 78 or 79, so that puts the story in 2017. Her mother dying before age 60 cannot happen after 2013. Suzanna's age is also given as 60. Can someone explain the math?
