Rarely do I come to the end of the book and sigh with regret that I must leave the characters I have come to love. Thank you for an extraordinary book that left me wanting more. Cathryn, how kind of you to tell me that! I wish my mother could have outlived the publication of THE HENNA ARTIST, but as I told a library bookclub yesterday, it seems as if I've immortalized her in a way I never expected :-). I have good news for you: the sequel, THE SECRET KEEPER OF JAIPUR, arrives in bookstores June 22, and you can pre-order it now. It's about 20-year-old Malik doing an apprenticeship at the Jaipur Palace and discovering secrets he's not sure he should keep to himself. Then, in 2022, the trilogy will completed by Radha's story as a 33-year-old working as a perfumer in Paris; she'll be confronted by someone from her past whom she hoped never to see. Will she pretend not to know him? Like most of the characters from THE HENNA ARTIST, Lakshmi plays a major part in the subsequent books.

Hi, Just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your first two books . I am very happy you have written another! I will be starting it soon , just need to clear my schedule so I won’t be interrupted!
